Follow the Cub Scout Trail with us!

Welcome to Pack 15, sponsored by the Weaverville United Methodist Church!

We meet weekly at the church (on the corner of Main and Church Streets, Weaverville, NC) on Tuesdays. Tiger Cub dens meet from 6:00-6:45 PM (except for Pack meetings) and all other dens meet from 6:45-8:00 PM. Pack Meetings are held the last Tuesday of the month and all dens, including Tigers, meet from 6:45-8:00 PM in the Fellowship Hall across the street. Meetings will not be held any day that school is canceled for snow, holidays, or emergencies.

Since 1930, the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) has helped younger boys through Cub Scouting. It is a year-round family program designed for boys who are in the first grade through fifth grade (or 6-10 years of age). Parents, leaders, and organizations work together to achieve the purposes of Cub Scouting. Currently, Cub Scouting is the largest of the BSA’s three membership divisions. (The others are Boy Scouting and Venturing.) Cub Scouting is certainly about camping, outdoor activities and advancement, but it’s not just about fun. The aims of Cub Scouting are to teach character development, citizenship and physical fitness to boys.
